Innovation boost in production by setting up templates in production

The challenge of setting up templates in production

The production of drive and control technology is a highly complex process. The individual production lines must be supplied with components on time - and across all plants. A scanner-based feedback system is used to monitor the supply.

Implementation and approach

After several workshops, we developed a detailed specification sheet as the basis for the successful implementation of the project. We created an organisational structure for the templates, set up a test environment and supervised the integration tests.

At the same time, we implemented new planning methods (SOP, Co-Pa) and introduced discrete production order processing and JIS processes. All of this was based on SAP standards, so that the security of the investment is also guaranteed for the future.

The use of clearly structured templates has given our customer’s production a decisive innovation boost. Processes have been harmonised.
