Successful M365 carve-in - migration of global business units to a central platform

Customer requirement

An internationally active company planned to transfer various divisions to a centralized Microsoft 365 environment. The goal was a consolidated target tenant with a uniform architecture, consistent administration and optimized user experience.

Challenge

The carve-in involved international organizational units and required the integration of different platforms - including Google Workspace. Time, quality and budget had to be secured through precise planning and implementation.

SPIRIT/21 solution

SPIRIT/21 carried out a detailed requirements analysis, defined the target architecture and realized setup and configuration of the M365 tenant. For the migration, the tool QUEST Metalogix was used to smoothly transfer content from Google Workspace. The individual company divisions were migrated step by step and integrated into the target environment. SPIRIT/21 also took over the configuration and support for Microsoft 365 apps, including the end devices.
