Smooth F5 hardware refresh - coordinated worldwide

Customer requirement

A global company was planning the renewal of its F5 infrastructure. The goal was an uninterrupted transition with as little disruption as possible for time-critical applications.

Challenge

The project ran internationally, with changing requirements and schedules. Most of the conversions had to take place outside business hours - often at night or at weekends.

SPIRIT/21 solution

SPIRIT/21 was responsible for technical planning, coordination with application managers, worldwide coordination of changes and implementation and rollout of the new F5 load balancers. Operations were handed over to the responsible NOC.
