Customer requirement

An internationally active industrial group planned the group-wide transformation of its SAP system landscape. The aim was to standardize processes, strengthen the SAP standard and future-proof IT - across more than 50 companies.

Challenge

The existing system landscape was heterogeneous, with differing processes and individual customizations. This led to high complexity, limited scalability and an increasing maintenance effort. What was needed was a clearly justified way of dealing with deviations from the SAP standard.

SPIRIT/21 took over the overall project management as the main contractor. As part of a greenfield implementation, a uniform SAP S/4HANA system with standardized processes was set up.
